During the confinement due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Fovissste declared in a statement that all retired workers who did not make use of mortgage credit were entitled to a 5% refund of their integrated salary. This amount corresponds to the contributions that your employers deposited in your name in the housing subaccount as a benefit.

How can I know if I am a candidate for this refund?

Only retirees or pensioners who never applied for their mortgage loan or even who have already paid it off, can request a refund from Fovissste. This corresponds to deposits made between 1972 to 1992.

How can I complete my procedure?

The procedure for the 5% refund can be done in two ways, the first is done directly in the housing department of your city and the second is through an online procedure.

In case of procedure in person It is necessary to present the following documents in original and copy:

• Official ID or valid passport
• Official report of services provided in the dependency o Exclusive official report for Fovissste or Unique Service Sheet issued by the dependencies or Public Entities in which he worked.
• Bank statement less than 3 months old.
• Last pay stub on active duty. (Only for workers of the Government of Mexico City and the Ministry of Public Education).
• Concession of pension or retirement issued by the ISSSTE.
• Unique Key of the Population Registry (CURP).

The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon at the Fovissste Housing department corresponding to your city.

To make your online procedure, first you have to enter the portal of Fovissste wallet and to carry out the process you must have your RFC number with homoclave and the following documents in digital version:

• Official ID or valid passport of the retiree.
